Works on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Fills cracks, seams, depressions, and nail holes with filler such as putty.
- Applies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices.
- Operates caulk gun, stapler and hammer.
- Installs glass in window screens and glass.
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions
The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
No prior experience or training required; carpentry experience preferred.
